Mortal Shell 2 Smert Location & Ritual Guide
Quick answer: Go to Prophet's Rest above the Outskirts of Nochte Beacon. Activate all three blood pools by killing enemies inside them or making blood offerings, then inhabit Smert and finish The Convert memory.

Smert unlock steps
- Fast travel to the Outskirts of Nochte Beacon and follow the uphill route to Prophet's Rest.
- Clear the ritual site carefully, keeping enemies close to a blood pool when you land the killing blow.
- Fill all three pools. If one does not activate, use the nearby blood-offering interaction instead of farming enemies away from the circle.
- Interact with Smert's body and complete The Convert Shell Memory encounter.
- Finish the memory to keep Smert permanently and unlock My Brether.
Before you leave
- There are three pools, not two; guides that describe only two offerings can leave the ritual incomplete.
- Rest or reload the area if an enemy dies outside a pool and the ritual state appears stuck.
